All preorders ship first. Once seasonal preorders are fulfilled, in-stock items typically ship within 7–10 business days.

Spring-planted bulbs ship when soil temperatures allow for successful planting. Shipments move north as the season progresses.

Fall Shipping

Fall is our primary planting season and the largest shipping window of the year. Orders are shipped based on planting readiness and harvest timing.

Fall preorder fulfillment typically begins mid-September.

Preorders ship in the order they were placed, with colder climates prioritized first. Once preorders are completed, in-stock orders ship within 7–10 business days.

Orders that include both bulbs and later-harvest roots will ship together once the full order is ready.

Fall bulbs generally cannot be guaranteed to ship before September 18, with the exception of bearded iris.

Weather Advisory

Bulbs are resilient, but extreme weather can impact shipping conditions.

If temperatures drop to levels that may cause damage during transit, Orris may temporarily delay shipment until conditions are safe

Our priority is ensuring bulbs arrive healthy and ready to plant. Weather-related adjustments may slightly extend shipping timelines.
